Job Summary:

As Document Control Specialist for Materne North America’s manufacturing department located in Nampa, Idaho, you will be responsible for performing the duties required to maintain internal document control and record maintenance.  Some of these duties include navigation of the EDM (Electronic Document Management) system, workflow coordination, revision history maintenance, and training tracking for updated procedures.  This position also reviews and files production paperwork and quality department reports.

Job Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Coordinate key processes related to Electronic Data Management (SharePoint), document control and record retention
  • Perform some administrator functions in the EDM (Electronic Document Management) system.
  • Use the EDM system to maintain revision history and master documents for all controlled documents.
  • Coordinate the workflow related to document creation, revision and approval of all controlled documents
  • Ensure that forms and record sheets are printed, in-stock and available to production employees
  • Oversee the daily review, filing, purging, scanning, and storage of all production documents to preserve historical data and records for future reference
  • Ensure implementation of new and revised documents and procedures.
  • File new and revised documents in the production binders at the work stations
  • Ensure notification of employees affected by the updated procedures or documents
  • Prepare training verification documents for supervisors and ensure that training is performed and recorded for all affected employees
  • Conduct binder audits to ensure accuracy of all documents by reviewing version numbers
  • Finalize the FSQIR (Food Safety and Quality Incident Reporting) system
  • Ensure completeness and correctness of all FSQIR reports, then log and file these reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma

EXPERIENCE

  • 2 to 5 years of document control experience in a manufacturing environment.

SKILLS

  • Exhibit a strong attention to detail, with high accuracy of work.
  • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and stay organized.
  • Proficiency with MSOffice products; Word and Excel.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Must be able to work from verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, including those in different departments.
  • Ability to adjust quickly as requirements change.
  • EDM Sharepoint training/experience highly preferred

PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to wear safety shoes, smock, hairnet, safety glasses, and earplugs while in GMP controlled areas of the plant.
  • Must be able to work for extended periods of time while seated at a desk or work station
